The case study label in focus is Vuyo’s™ Braaiwors, a trademarked product of Deli Spices since 2010, one of the most popular fresh meat range labels.
The label is flexo printed using Six ink stations. Four of the stations are CMYK and the fifth is used for a gold ink which is reversed out on white to display the ingredients section of the label.
The label is then coated with clear gloss UV at the 6th ink station, cut to size using the rotary die cutter, and the waste between the labels and on the sides is stripped away.
